We provide a range of services to the community, including couples’ and family counseling, parent guidance counseling, and counseling for adults, adolescents, and children experiencing a range of symptoms or emotional difficulties.  In addition, we provide specialized assessment services to attorneys along with consultation to Domestic Relations Courts, Juvenile Courts, Civil and Criminal Courts.  We are dedicated to making life more effective for all our clients.

History.

The Center for Effective Living, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Dr. Michael B. Leach.  The Center was designed to be a multidisciplinary mental health practice that offers solutions to a wide range of family and emotional problems.  Many of our staff members have been with us since our inception and our goal remains the same as it was in 1979: to offer the highest quality psychological evaluations and counseling services for individuals, couples, and families.

We pride ourselves on making it easy for you to get the help that you need.  That’s why our experienced staff has early morning and late evening hours, as well as times available on weekends.  We accept most insurance carriers and we also accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for payments.  Our support staff is pleased to answer any questions you may have about our services, professional qualifications, or time availability.
